Scholarship Awards
K.J.Z.T. Scholarship:
The Fraternal shall award scholarships
annually from the Junior Expense Account of the Expense Fund. Scholarship
amounts are authorized by the Board of Directors to Members or Catholic
Associates with Insurance in the Junior Division who apply and are selected by
the Board of Directors on the basis of qualifications adopted by the Board of
Directors. No application shall be considered by the Board of Directors where
such applicant is an immediate family member of the Board of Directors or State
Officers.
K.J.Z.T. Memorial Scholarship: The Fraternal shall award
scholarships annually from the K.J.Z.T. Memorial Scholarship Fund. Scholarship
amounts are authorized by the Board of Directors to Members or Catholic
Associates with Insurance in the Junior Division who apply and are selected by
the Board of Directors on the basis of qualifications adopted by the Board of
Directors. This scholarship is given to non-active juniors and can be received
only once. The K.J.Z.T. Memorial Scholarship Fund is composed of money donated
in memory of a deceased loved one or for birthdays or anniversaries and is
depleted each year.
K.J.Z.T. Pavlu Memorial Scholarship: The Fraternal shall award
scholarships annually from the interest income of the K.J.Z.T. Pavlu Memorial
Scholarship Fund, which was established in 1981 by Joe and Benita Pavlu. The
recipients are selected on the basis of qualifications adopted by the Board of
Directors. A member or Associate with Insurance in the Junior Division who has
been selected as a recipient for a K.J.Z.T. Pavlu Memorial Scholarship shall not
be eligible for a scholarship from the K.J.Z.T. Scholarship Awards. The Board
of Directors may grant an additional scholarship each year up to three (3) years
to such recipients after the initial year has been completed upon reapplication.
K.J.Z.T. Pavlu Employee Tuition: The Board of Directors and State
Officers may grant tuition to K.J.Z.T. employees on the basis of qualifications
adopted by the Board of Directors.
