Splashway Waterpark is allowing an early entrance for our group for Mass with State Chaplain Father Gary Janak at 10 a.m. under the Pavilion. There will be a reserved area marked KJZT Family Life. Door prizes, fellowship, snacks, and the distribution of wristbands will follow Mass.
What is CKD?
Progressive loss of kidney function over time is called chronic kidney disease, (CKD). Our kidneys remove waste from the blood into the urine which is essential to our overall health. The kidneys also play important roles in controlling blood pressure, maintaining proper chemistry balance, and making red blood cells. Chronic kidney disease which may affect 20 million people in the United States may interfere with any of these important processes.

KJZT Family Life Continues to Move Forward
The State Directors, State Officers and State Chaplain met with Amy Medberry, with Medberry Consulting, on Sunday, February 17 – Monday, February 18, 2019 to discuss and create a more innovative strategic plan. The meeting began with a Mass and was held at Jordan Ranch in Schulenburg, Tx.
The Grace of the Family Meal
Eating together as a family is indeed a spiritual activity that goes beyond the grace prayer. Praying before and after a meal is an important component in the spiritual life of our families, but grace is also found in the actual sharing together of that particular meal. Make regular meal time a part of your weekly schedule and discover again the grace of the family meal.
