POSITION: INSURANCE AND ANNUITY SPECIALIST

POSITION SUMMARY: Process applications for, changes to, reinstatement of, and cancellation of insurance and annuity certificates. Duties include reviewing insurance and annuity applications to ensure that all questions have been answered, compiling data on insurance and annuity certificate changes, changing certificate records to conform to insured party’s specifications, compiling data on lapsed insurance certificates to determine automatic reinstatement according to company policies, canceling insurance certificates as requested by agents, and verifying the accuracy of insurance company records.

EDUCATION: College degree and previous experience at a Life Insurance Company strongly preferred.

CERTIFICATES AND LICENSES: Within one year of hire, you will be required to attain a General Lines Insurance License through TDI.
